Model School Preparation

Ιn the last 6 years Model Primary Schools has reconsolidated to the Greek educational reality, with a significant increase of students participating in the special examinations in order to attend them. These are special units of primary public education that have distinct characteristics in relation to the other educational units:

  • They offer high quality educational services by matching students with an expert team of teachers.

  • They encourage education excellence, creativity and innovation

  • They have flexible administrative structures with self-governing characteristics

  • They only accept students who pass their admissions tests.

Those students who wants to enter this type of schools, must take part in national exams that take place at the end of the school year of the 6th grade. Specifically, the admission process includes the written examination in: 1) reading comprehension, writing and 2) Mathematics. Candidates who, based on anonymous grading, ensure their admission to the Standard Gymnasiums depending on the number of respective positions, and finally graduate from them, are admitted directly to the respective Standard Lyceums without further examinations.

In Gotoclass special classes are formed in order to prepare students for their admission to model schools. It is noteworthy that in the 2020 exams, more than half of the students who managed to enter the Model Primary School Εvagelliki of Nea Smyrni were prepared in our school. The success rates of our students fully vindicated the parents who chose and trusted Gotoclass.

Gotoclass has formulated a special curriculum for admission to model schools. These are:

a. Small groups that focus on quality homogeneity.

b. Integrated framework with many exam simulation tests, based on older topics.

c. Weekly assignements and time management tests in order to make students to properly manage their time on exams.

d. Frequent contacts with parents, in order to contribute in their turn to the achievement of the goal of the young candidates.

e. Detailed online educational material, exams preparation books and easy use of online resources perfectly adapted to the requirements and syllabus of the entrance exams.

f. Curriculum flexibility, adapted to the program of the candidate students, which is pressed by the rest of the activities.

Lessons take place on a daily basis and on Saturdays, always aiming at quality teaching and proper assimilation of the educational material.

Apart from the small groups which are formed every year, as a complete tutorial for model schools, Gotoclass also provides the opportunity for private primary school lessons for those students who wish to do so.
